Wholesale Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

Chewy, America’s #1 pet pharmacy, is seeking a Wholesale Technician to join our Pharmacy team in Dallas, TX! This position will be a hands-on role within the Chewy Wholesale facility. Wholesale technicians will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and transfer of wholesale inventory under the direction and supervision of the Designated Representative.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain a safe and clean wholesale facility by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

• Receive and transport inbound orders

• Prepare and fulfill outbound orders

• Responsible for accurate documentation

• Utilize computers and other electronic devices to input information from product deliveries

• Complete inventory management which includes checking outdates, cycle counts, stock rotation, processing returns, damages and quarantining suspect product

• Assist Designated Representative in proper record keeping

• Participate in additional special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned

• May perform miscellaneous job-related duties in accordance with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations

• Meet and maintain quality standards as required by the management team

• Be trained and be able to operate manual and electric material handling equipment

• Continuous training and licensing/certification as required

What you'll need:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to pass background check as required as per state and federal regulations

• Must be able to obtain and/or maintain Texas pharmacy technician registration/licensure

• Must maintain a positive attitude in team and safety-oriented environment

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, either with or without a reasonable accommodation

• Continuous walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and handling in a warehouse environment up to 10 hours per day

• Must have great attention to detail when receiving orders and preparing transfers

• Must have basic computer skills
