Job Description

A leading healthcare system in Georgia is seeking a Business Coordinator to support Supply Chain Operations across multiple hospital facilities. This role will serve as a key operational resource responsible for inventory management initiatives, perpetual inventory systems, point-of-use inventory optimization, product conversions, and supply chain process improvement efforts. The Business Coordinator will collaborate closely with Supply Chain leaders, Distribution Center teams, clinical departments, IT, and facility leadership to support inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and successful implementation of supply chain initiatives. This position is ideal for a highly organized, analytical professional who enjoys project coordination, process improvement, and working cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.

  • Support inventory optimization initiatives, perpetual inventory programs, and point-of-use inventory management across multiple facilities.
  • Coordinate product conversions, new product introductions, and inventory standardization projects.
  • Analyze inventory and operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Track project milestones, implementation timelines, risks, and action items while communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and project documentation using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, clinical departments, IT teams, and leadership to ensure successful execution of supply chain initiatives.
  • Assist with training, change management, and user adoption efforts related to new processes, systems, and inventory technologies.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, project coordination, healthcare operations, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting inventory management systems, ERP systems, perpetual inventory systems, or supply chain technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and inventory data.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Healthcare supply chain experience.
  • Experience with perpetual inventory systems and point-of-use inventory technologies.
  • Experience supporting supply chain transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with procurement, receiving, distribution, and inventory control processes.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, or process optimization methodologies. Experience coordinating large-scale implementations, product conversions, or system rollouts within a healthcare environment.
