Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Audio DSP Engineer to join our In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) audio development team for electric vehicle platforms. The role will focus on real-time audio signal processing, particularly voice communication / ECNR and audio post-processing. This is a hands-on engineering role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in developing, integrating, debugging, tuning, and validating audio algorithms on an embedded production platform. This person will be responsible for the following: Development of audio processing stack: Drive the implementation and optimization of the infotainment audio software stack. Develop and integrate voice communication and voice recognition solutions for IVI (In-vehicle infotainment) platforms. Work closely with HW engineers and the system integration team to ensure tight integration and that the audio stack meets high-quality standards. Work closely with the QA team to perform comprehensive testing, debugging, and validation.

Skills and Requirements

Audio DSP & Signal Processing Strong hands-on experience developing and/or integrating speech and microphone-array signal processing algorithms. Experience with several of the following: Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) Adaptive Beamforming (MVDR or similar) Noise Reduction (NR) Residual Echo Suppression (RES) Voice Activity Detection (VAD) Automatic Gain Control (AGC) Wind Noise Reduction Direction of Arrival (DoA) Estimation Speech Enhancement Audio Post-Processing

Experience developing or integrating real-time audio playback and post-processing systems, including: Audio mixing and routing Volume/gain control Mute/ducking Channel mapping Equalization Audio filtering Sample rate conversion

Software Development Strong C/C++ development experience in real-time audio processing environments (or a related programming language). Experience with MATLAB (or Python). Experience developing, debugging, tuning, and validating audio algorithms on embedded platforms. Automotive & Product Experience Automotive or In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) audio development experience. Experience commercializing voice communication and/or voice recognition features.

Linux Audio - Strong understanding of Linux audio architecture, particularly ALSA.

Advanced DSP / AI Experience Experience with traditional DSP and statistical signal-processing techniques. Experience with deep learning or neural network-based speech enhancement. Experience developing hybrid DSP + machine learning solutions.

Audio Weaver (Highly Desired) Hands-on experience with DSP Concepts Audio Weaver (AWE). Experience using Audio Weaver to: Build audio processing pipelines graphically. Generate production-ready code from audio designs. Test and validate audio processing chains. Audio Tuning & Validation Experience with acoustic measurement and validation tools such as: HATS HEAD Acoustics Audio Precision
