Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Forecast product demand, analyzing production needs, allocating global supply across all channels of distribution and influencing quarterly sales projections used in guidance to Wall Street. Collaborate and influence across many key groups within Apple in an effort to both set the strategy and drive the execution of products across Apple's global supply chain. Understand and apply concepts of market dynamics and competitive behavior, negotiation and pricing, as well as knowledge of manufacturing processes, and risk mitigation to influence and run supply chain activities by working directly with operational partners to optimize supply constraints in light of demand priorities, factory capacity, logistics requirements, quality challenges, and materials flow throughout Apple's multi-tier global supply chain. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions. Collaborate with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensure raw material inventory targets are achieved, and minimize material obsolescence during product transition. 40 hours/week.
