Full job description
TheGuarantors is a fintech company helping multifamily owners and operators mitigate leasing risk while expanding access for renters. With a deep understanding of owner, operator, and renter needs, we believe renters deserve better access to the home of their choice and operators deserve greater protection and growth opportunities. That’s why we’re leveraging our real estate expertise and using AI-driven renter underwriting to help operators qualify renters faster while mitigating the financial risk of renter default. With $7B+ in lease value protected, we work with 9 of the country’s top 10 operators, are the #1 lease guarantee provider nationwide, and have consistently been named one of Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing companies, one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers, and one of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500. The Role We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team to help us strategically grow and scale our organization across all teams and levels, from early-career hires to senior leaders. You’ll partner with hiring managers company-wide to understand and anticipate hiring needs, design sourcing strategies, and build a robust pipeline of top talent, technical and non-technical, while delivering a stellar candidate experience. This is a hybrid role, working 1-2 days per week at the NYC office. What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across departments and levels (entry through senior), ensuring a consistent, positive candidate experience.
- Develop sourcing strategies for technical and non-technical talent, using creative outreach, market mapping, and networking to engage high-quality, diverse candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to create hiring profiles, set interview plans, and share market insights, ensuring alignment on process and expectations.
- Build strong pipelines through proactive sourcing, professional networks, and industry events to meet current and future workforce needs.
- Provide guidance and best practices on interviewing, assessment methods, and offer strategy to leaders and interview teams.
- Collaborate with People Operations for onboarding.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated success hiring both technical (engineering, product, data) and non-technical roles.
- Proven ability to recruit at all levels, from entry-level to senior leader, in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels (social platforms, professional networks, events, referrals, and market research).
- Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills to manage a high volume of requisitions while partnering effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and data-driven recruiting metrics.
- Experience in a growth-stage or high-volume hiring environment is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset with empathy, integrity, and a sense of humor—you balance professionalism with approachability.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Benefits
- Opportunities to make an impact within a fast growing company
- Medical, dental, & vision insurance, beginning day one
- Health savings account with employer contribution
- Flexible spending accounts (healthcare, dependent care, commuter)
- 401(k)
- Generous PTO and paid holidays
- In-office lunch Perk
- Flexible working hours
- Paid parental leave
- Company sponsored short and long term disability
Base Salary The base salary range is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
