Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Territory Loss Prevention Director who is passionate about keeping our team safe, our locations secure and protecting our product & reputation in Nike Stores throughout the Western United States. This role must be located within the Territory supported (preferably Portland, OR) and will require an extensive history of success leading teams and managing Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or Security programs in a multi-unit setting.

What You Will Work On

As a Territory LP Director, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of District Loss Prevention Managers placed across key cities/markets throughout the Territory.

  • Develop and lead a business strategy that supports and brings the Nike, Resilience and LP mission to life in the Territory.

  • Partner with Territory leadership to help meet Nike Store’s operational goals and objectives throughout the Territory.

  • Implement and drive Nike Policies, Standards and Procedures to best protect the brand, limit business disruptions, reduce shrink and other risks that inhibit financial objectives.

  • Use your knowledge and experience to ensure that Nike is advancing safety and security priorities that align with Nike’s Maxims and Corporate Policies.

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders who support the safety and security of locations in which Nike operates.

  • Drive continuous improvement in LP Programs through addressing internal business needs, industry trends, field feedback and pain-points.

  • Guide teams through emergency/crisis situations and have the ability to respond to off-hour, on-call support for store teams and field leaders.

This will be accomplished through:

  • Your ability to share expertise and lead your team to execute LP responsibilities including Incident Management, Physical Security, Theft & Investigations, Profit Protection, Safety and Risk Assessment.

  • Establishing a culture of accountability through hiring, setting clear expectations, developing talent and performance management.

  • Building relationships and cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders in teams such as Resilience, North America Retail Operations, Legal, Communications, Human Resources, Employee Relations and others.

  • Building external relationships that include Law Enforcement Agencies, Retail Partners, and LP Industry Channels.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training

  • 4 year degree in Criminal Justice, Business or a related field preferred

  • A minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or Operations

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams

  • Relevant experience leading teams in multi-unit retail or customer service orientated environment

  • The ability to travel up to 75% of the time

  • Experience influencing key business partners and senior leadership

  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment

  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to make business decisions

  • Strong inter-personal and networking skills to interact in a professional manner

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
