Registered Nurse (RN) - 1:1 School Nurse

Kingston, MA | Up to $57/hour | Full School Year Contract

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for a kindergarten student in a school setting in Kingston, MA for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details

• Position: RN - 1:1 School Nurse

• Location: Kingston, MA

• Start Date: September 9, 2026

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-2:30 PM

• Hours: 32.5 hours per week

• Contract Length: 26/27 School Year

• Compensation: Up to $57/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day

• Monitor and manage the student's health status according to physician orders

• Administer care related to G-tube feeding and maintenance as ordered

• Collaborate with school staff, family members, and healthcare providers

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation

• Respond appropriately to changes in the student's condition

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred

• Experience with G-tube care strongly preferred

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently in a school setting

The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment. This role ensures that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing

• One year of school nursing experience, preferred

• Pediatric experience, preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
