Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 3100 E FLETCHER AVE City: TAMPA State: Florida Postal Code: 33613 Job Description:
- Serves as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and other staff.
- Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Provides day-to-day supervision of technologists, support staff, and imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
- Coordinates daily workflow and staffing assignments, balancing patient volumes, technologist availability, and room utilization.
- Assists with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing competency assessment of technologists and new hires.
- Supports leadership in performance management through the talent care process, performance reviews, and providing coaching opportunities for team member development.
- Collaborates with radiologists, leadership, and other departments to facilitate timely and coordinated services.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects.
- Ensures proper equipment functionality and coordinates preventative maintenance.
- Participates in scheduling, timekeeping, and supply inventory management to support operational efficiency and budget goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application. [Required]
- Ability to learn and use basic supervisory skills such as team building, all required HR functions and effective communication. [Required]
- Attend the core leadership development classes. [Required]
- Possess the ability to instruct, guide and mentor the modality staff with a positive, supportive attitude. [Required]
- Supports all hospital and administration initiatives for customer service, patient care and interdepartmental cooperation. [Required]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Associate [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- N/A
Work Experience:
- 1+ years leadership experience [Preferred]
- 5+ years of experience [Preferred]
Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) [Required] OR Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography RT(VI)(ARRT) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$31.86 - $59.27 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
