As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and entry permissions in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor access points, alarm systems, and other security-related equipment; document and report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
