Soldering Technician

Our client, a world-leading medical device company focused on improving lives through innovative, consumer-centered solutions is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team in Trumbull, CT!

Location: Trumbull, CT

Pay rate: $19-$21/hr

Schedule: 1st shift (Mon-Thurs. 6AM-4:30PM)

Job type: Contract (can convert or extend)

Job Summary

Assemble, test, and package electromechanical components and finished products while following established work instructions and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble small, precision components using hand tools and magnification equipment.

  • Build sub-assemblies and finished products according to work instructions.

  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical testing.

  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.

  • Follow all safety, PPE, ESD, and clean room requirements.

  • Identify quality concerns and communicate issues to leadership.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of electromechanical or hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with hand tools and small-part assembly.

  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to read and follow written procedures.

  • Soldering experience preferred.

  • Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
