Primary Job Duties

The Maintenance Technology Support Specialist will work with the SkyWest Information Technology and Maintenance departments to support software used by the Maintenance department. This position will report to the Manager of Operations Technology.

This position will be located in St. George, UT, Corporate Headquarters and requires some degree of travel.

  • Assist in software development projects as assigned by the Manager of Operations Technology

  • Provide support for software used by the Maintenance Department

  • Write User Manual for SkyTrack, an in-house software

  • Work with Business Analysts and Programmers to test software changes

  • Troubleshoot software issues reported by maintenance department employees.

  • Monitor software implementation to ensure that project objectives are met

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-Motivated that can work independently on tasks assigned

  • Knowledge of Airline Industry is preferred but not required

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time

  • This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
