City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Anesthesia Surgery Screening (PASS) team. This is a part-time position 3 days a week.
Hours: 0730-400 Monday-Friday No Nights, Weekends, or Holiday

This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.
Education
- Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
- All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
- Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire
Experience
- PASS experience preferred
- Alternatively, operating room or pre-op nursing experience
