Full job description

Full Time| Sunday- Wednesday| 4/10 Schedule| 12:00A-10:00AM| 100% Onsite| Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Assists in administration of compute and storage systems and recommends improvements necessary to ensure operation of Choctaw Nation systems. You will report to the Information Systems Manager.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will maintain Windows Active Directory environments.

  2. Maintain fileserver permissions to meet our requirements.

  3. Help administer enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS).

  4. Help administer enterprise compute environments, including virtualization hardware, physical servers, and hosted systems.

  5. You will help assure reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication.

  6. Assure systems performance and stability.

  7. Assure system security.

  8. Administer and improve server OS, including Windows Server 2008, 2012+, and Redhat Linux.

  9. Help maintain enterprise-wide VMware environments.

  10. Apply company procedures to resolve routine issues.

  11. Analyze situational data to resolve issues or follow escalation chain.

  12. You will communicate with other IT teams to resolve customer issues.

  13. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in computer science or related field or relevant IT certification or 2 years related experience.

  • Customer service skills

  • Perform complex tasks.

  • Knowledge of managing and troubleshooting system infrastructure based on best practices.

  • Server operating system and active directory troubleshooting knowledge.

  • Must be comfortable working in an accountable and maintain flexible working hours.

  • Two years' experience supporting IT systems.
