Full job description

Corner Alliance is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that devotes itself to providing an enriching employee experience while working in meaningful ways to create results for the government. We are currently seeking a Power Platform / SharePoint Developer with 5+ years of experience required to join our team on a 1099, project-based engagement (approximately 4-8 months) and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive.

This role is contingent upon award

About the Role:

As a Power Platform / SharePoint Developer, you will provide hands-on development and support for a SharePoint-based automation and reporting solution within the Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, reporting, and data management through SharePoint Online and Power Platform.

You will build and administer the SharePoint site, develop Power Automate flows triggered by file uploads, and build Power BI dashboards for reporting. This role ensures all solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with Microsoft 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Build and administer the MBDA SharePoint environment, including site architecture, governance, permissions management, and the recipient registry

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate flows triggered by file uploads to extract and validate recipient data, and build Power BI dashboards for executive and project officer reporting

  • Build an automated data ingestion pipeline that extracts data from recipient Excel and PDF submissions and validates it against a defined schema before it enters the data store

  • Integrate AI-powered enhancements using Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder to improve automation and productivity

  • Provide a review and clarification workflow for program staff to flag data issues and send templated follow-up communications to recipients

  • Ensure all Microsoft 365 solutions adhere to DLP policies, governance standards, security requirements, and Section 508 accessibility compliance

  • Implement data quality checks to flag missing, suspicious, or duplicate entries within the system

  • Support ongoing maintenance, including incident response and monthly system health reporting

  • Produce technical documentation and an operator manual, provide training sessions, and support formal handover to designated staff at contract offboarding

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with program objectives

  • Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive

Location:

You will work as part of a fully remote team supporting this project.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint Online administration and Microsoft 365 environments, minimum B.A. degree required

  • Proven expertise in Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder

  • Ability to self-direct technical execution based on a described business outcome, without detailed technical direction from the hiring manager

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and compliance requirements

  • Experience building automated document intake and file-organization workflows

  • Experience producing technical documentation and conducting user training

  • Experience integrating APIs and advanced workflow automation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports or briefing materials

  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, program management, and stakeholder teams

  • US citizenship or permanent resident; must be able to obtain DOC (Department of Commerce) suitability.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Experience supporting federal or government clients

  • Experience integrating APIs and advanced workflow automation

  • Experience developing enterprise dashboards and analytics reporting solutions
