Full job description

Ready to take your lab skills from “good” to “great”? I’m looking for a Mechanical Laboratory Technician who enjoys hands-on testing, careful documentation, and solving technical challenges with a team. This onsite role in Maplewood, Minnesota is a great fit for someone who can follow procedures, run chemical/physical/mechanical analyses, and help drive research, development, and quality control results forward.

Job Title: Mechanical Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h on w-2

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Perform chemical, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests to support research, development, and quality control of processes and products.

  • Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results to support accurate reporting and decision-making.

  • Follow established procedures and methods while working effectively in a self-directed team environment.

  • Use inspection procedures and product-line knowledge to support testing and evaluation activities.

  • Manage assigned product testing projects, including schedule and data management.

What's Needed?

  • At least one year of experience working in a laboratory testing environment.

  • Hands-on skills with adhesive testing , including mechanical and bulk characterization.

  • Strong data entry and analysis skills, including Excel and other relevant software packages.

  • Good mechanical aptitude and experience (and/or specific training) in inspection procedures and/or the product line.

  • Computer literacy, clear communication, and strong time management skills; ability to identify issues/problems with moderate direction and seek assistance when needed.
