Full job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Pharmacy Technicians for a healthcare facility in Austin, TX to start in October 2026.

This is an on-site opportunity with weekday shifts only.

Pay: $25 to $29/hour

Type: Contract Assignment (Minimum 3-Month Contract)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

  • 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

  • No 12-hour shifts

  • Candidates must be available for 9 consecutive days of training (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inventory management and medication storage.

  • Prepare medications for pharmacist final verification.

  • Deliver medications to patient care areas.

  • Conduct medication room inspections and maintain compliance standards.

  • Provide technical assistance to pharmacy staff and healthcare teams.

  • Perform clerical and administrative pharmacy duties.

  • Support manual and automated medication repackaging processes.

  • Follow all applicable pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

  • Previous pharmacy technician experience required.

  • Experience with Pyxis MedStation systems preferred.

  • Experience with medication room inspections preferred.

  • Experience with manual and automated medication repackaging preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid photo ID required.

  • Negative PPD/TB test within the last 12 months required.

  • Must pass drug screening and background check.

  • Must pass FBI fingerprint background check.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
