Prior receiving coordinator experince or logistics experience

Microsoft Office proficient

Detail oriented

Responsibilities:

• Job Description

• The Receiving Coordinator will play a key role in entering and verifying all necessary data relevant to incoming merchandise into our facility.

• DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Work with warehouse associates and warehouse management on processing incoming merchandise accurately into our warehouse management system.

• Update customers on any damages or discrepancies received into our facility.

• Check inbound receipt provided by our warehouse against packing list and data entry into our warehouse management system.

• Respond promptly to customers inquiries via email or phone.

• Create item labels as needed.

• Assist with managing and updating inbound appointment log and coordinate with trucking companies as needed.

• Communicate with warehouse manager and warehouse associates on inbounds beyond our promised window.

• Update billing charges into the system.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BRENTWOOD, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
