Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting accounting activities for of all Revelyst’s brands. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast paced multi-brand environment.

This position reports to the Global Accounting Manager , and based in our Irvine, California office.

As the Senior Accountant, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and documentation in support of the month end close.

  • Analyze financial results and investigate variances to forecast or trends

  • Support improvements and standardization to the close process

  • Contribute to consistent application of accounting guidance and company accounting policies across all brands. Improve and standardize accounting and process documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and relevant accounting standards.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.

  • Support internal and external audits.

  • Perform and support other general accounting activities or projects as directed

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes and US GAAP.

  • 5+ years’ progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a CPG or similar industry.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite.

  • Ability to work in a complex organization having multiple business units, brands and ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support cross-functional teams

  • Experience with global entities, intercompany accounting and foreign currency

  • Demonstrated talent for improving processes and a mindset for continuous improvement.

  • Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).

  • Ability to work on site in our Irvine, CA offices at least 4 days per week.

You might have:

  • Certified Public Accountant license

  • MBA degree

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
