Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a .NET Developer in Pittsburgh, PA. This individual will play a key role in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), developing and enhancing enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, Blazor, SQL Server, and modern web technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy scalable solutions. Day-to-Day:

• Develop and maintain complex applications using .NET and C#
• Build solutions utilizing .NET Core, Blazor, SQL Server, and web technologies
• Access and manage SQL database environments
• Test, debug, and validate application functionality
• Implement software enhancements and production changes
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
• Collaborate with development teams on new system design initiatives
• Improve functionality of existing applications and platforms
• Communicate project and task status with leadership and team members
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including deployment plans
• Mentor less experienced developers
• Stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Advanced C# development experience
• Experience with Blazor
• SQL Server/database development experience
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Ability to independently translate requirements into technical designs
• Experience architecting, developing, testing, and implementing complex software solutions
• Experience documenting deployment and rollback/backout plans
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience using Git for source control and build management
• Experience with JetBrains Rider
• Experience with BUnit testing framework
• Financial services or banking industry experience
• Experience developing cross-functional enterprise systems
