QA Technician - GMP Document Control

Job Description

The QA Technician ensures that products consistently meet internal quality standards and applicable ISO and international requirements. This role monitors and documents key quality metrics, supports complaint and product handling activities, and contributes to stability and performance testing. The QA Technician investigates quality issues, prepares clear written responses to customer inquiries, and serves as a subject matter expert on complaint and product-related issues within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document quality metrics, including complaint and product handling, stability testing, and product performance, to ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable international standards.

  • Compile and present quality metrics and findings to the Quality Review Board and other relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries related to product quality and performance.

  • Prepare well-structured written responses to quality notifications or inquiries from customers, demonstrating strong written communication skills.

  • Lead issue review investigations arising from customer complaints, ensuring that all concerns are thoroughly evaluated, documented, and resolved.

  • Review quality documentation, including device history records and processing records, to confirm alignment with internal policies and process requirements.

  • Serve as an internal expert on complaint and product issues, offering guidance and support to colleagues across the organization.

  • Support internal and external quality audits by providing documentation, explanations, and evidence of compliance as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced product quality.

Essential Skills

  • Proven quality assurance (QA) experience in a laboratory or similar regulated environment.

  • Working knowledge of ISO standards and other applicable international quality standards.

  • Experience monitoring, documenting, and reporting quality metrics related to complaint and product handling, stability testing, and performance.

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional responses to customer quality notifications and inquiries.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead issue review investigations related to customer complaints and product quality concerns.

  • Experience reviewing quality documentation, including device history records and processing records, for compliance with internal policies and procedures.

  • Quality audit exposure or participation, with an understanding of audit processes and expectations.

  • Attention to detail and strong documentation practices to ensure accurate and complete quality records.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
