Job Description

We are seeking a UI Automated Test Engineer to support software development in Java, C++, and Python for a suite of User Interface products. Working under minimal direction, you will help design and implement an automated testing framework, develop Python test scripts, and apply a solid understanding of automated testing and test requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong verbal and written communication skills, works well independently and as part of a team, thrives in a highly dynamic environment, and is willing to take on unanticipated tasking. This role generally requires 1+ years of related experience and may include a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

41-56/hr DOE

Skills and Requirements

  • Knowledge of automated testing

  • Ability to develop test scripts in Python

  • Familiarity with software engineering and Python development

  • Basic understanding of Git/GitLab

  • Knowledge of common software development and management tools (Confluence, JIRA)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a highly dynamic environment

  • Willingness to take on unanticipated tasking 1+ years of related experience (degree or related training a plus)

  • Experience using the Selenium framework to test web applications

  • Familiarity with Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, Gradle, ClearCase, Jenkins, PyAutoGUI, and/or Tesseract

  • Experience working in an agile development environment

  • Security+ certification
