Wenger Corporation is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in San Antonio, TX or Owatonna, MN. As a Senior Financial Analyst you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience through advanced finance business partnership, reporting, forecasting, strategic analysis, month-end close support, and recommendations that enable data-driven decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst independently leads complex analyses, translates financial results into actionable insights, and serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders.

At a minimum you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Five (5) or more years of progressive corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or accounting experience.

Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analyses and provide recommendations to leadership.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including ability to connect operational drivers to financial results.

Strong communication skills and ability to influence and work cross-functionally with business leaders.

Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, Power Pivot, and financial modeling.

It'd be great if you also have:

Master's degree, CPA, or CMA.

Experience with ERP, EPM, and reporting tools such as Epicor, Vena, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Experience using Copilot or equivalent AI tools to improve analysis, reporting, or productivity.

Manufacturing industry experience

As a Senior Financial Analyst a typical day might include:

Serve as a finance business partner to Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams by providing reporting, advanced analysis, forecasting leadership, and financial recommendations.

Lead recurring reporting and analysis on sales, order intake, cost of sales, margin, profitability, and financial performance trends.

Help drive the full-year budget and rolling forecast processes, including model ownership, business partner reviews, variance analysis, and leadership-ready explanations.

Independently lead complex analyses that evaluate business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.

Perform and explain margin analysis, profitability reviews, and cost drivers; recommend actions to reduce costs, improve margins, and strengthen financial performance.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting processes for assigned business areas.

Create executive-ready data visualizations, presentations, and recommendations for management meetings and reviews.

Streamline reporting processes through automation, effective tool selection, standardization, and improved reporting governance.

Mentor team members and business partners on financial reporting, analysis, tools, and interpretation of results as needed.

Complete ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and audit requests as needed.
