Full job description

AIS is looking for a Work Control Planner III to work in Oak Ridge, TN. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Under general supervision, the Work Control Planner plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work package

  • Participates in effective - results driven planning meetings

  • Assists with preparation and tracking of work order development in support of assigned field activities.

  • Assists in preparing work documents authorizing maintenance and calibration.

  • Assists in prioritizing estimates, and establishing man hours needed for work package development.

  • Supports miscellaneous and work control planning activities as required by manager.

  • Completes work assignments with a high level of quality and personal accountability, displaying strong skills in communication and building relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Experience: 5 years directly related experience

  • Experience with type I work planning strongly desired

  • Familiarity with procedure writing required

  • Familiarity with established policies, methods, and practices of the Company strongly desired.
