Factory Applications Engineer 3

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Factory Applications Engineer to support testing with advanced memory customers. This individual will serve as a technical expert during device bring-up, characterization, production ramp, and customer escalations while helping drive adoption and evolution of automated test equipment platforms.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of semiconductor ATE (Automated Test Equipment) experience; memory experience is preferred but not required.

Hands-on experience developing, debugging, and supporting test programs on any major ATE platform (Teradyne, Advantest, or similar).

Proficiency in C or C++ programming for test application and test program development.

Strong hardware and software debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex production and customer issues.

Customer-facing experience supporting device bring-up, production ramp, technical escalations, or manufacturing test operations.

Ability to travel 4-5 times a year to domestic and international customers. DRAM and/or NAND memory test experience.

Wafer Sort and Final Test experience.

Git/version control experience.

Mandarin or Korean language skills.

Experience supporting customers across China, Korea, or Japan.
