Job Summary and Responsibilities

Georgia Surgery

Full Time: Days with call requirements

As our Surgical Tech, you will help prepare the operating room and surgical team so they can successfully perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients.

Every day you will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment. You will be expected to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process.

To be successful in this role, you must possess adaptability, a strong team-player mindset, and enthusiasm for supporting complex surgical procedures.

  • Use of general patient care equipment and communication equipment

  • Use of unit specific equipment

  • Good telephone and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to changes in healthcare technology

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Use of appropriate PPE and safe patient handling devices

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduation from a surgical technologist program through an approved school or the military, upon hire

  • Certified Surgical Technologist, within 6 - months and

  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Pay Range

$23.11 - $34.38 /hour
