Laboratory Technician

Location: Stamford, CT

Pay Rate: $ 24.60/hour

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support laboratory testing, product stability analysis, and sample preparation. Under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Scientist, the Laboratory Technician will work with a high level of initiative and independence while following established laboratory procedures, safety standards, and experimental protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product stability analysis and testing while accurately documenting progress and results.

  • Record, organize, analyze, and communicate experimental and testing data.

  • Support laboratory batching of body care products, including hand soaps and body washes.

  • Prepare and submit product samples for testing and evaluation.

  • Follow established experimental protocols and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.

  • Handle laboratory products and chemicals safely in accordance with established procedures.

  • Maintain clean, organized laboratory, storage areas, and equipment.

  • Follow all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, standards, and company policies.

  • Work independently while collaborating with Senior Technicians, Scientists, and other laboratory team members.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .

  • Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols and accurately preserve and document data.

  • Comfortable working with chemicals and potentially toxic materials while consistently following laboratory safety procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate laboratory results and findings clearly.

  • Ability to stand and work in a laboratory environment for most of the workday.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards.

Pay Details: $24.60 per hour
