Full job description

Standard Job Description

The Associate Manager, Depot Partnering Component Repair Operations (CRO), will oversee the F‑22 spare‑parts repair program within a Performance‑Based Logistics (PBL) framework. LM Aero must build and sustain the infrastructure for depot‑level maintenance, ensure Title 10 compliance, and support the United States Government (USG) in meeting contractual performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑End Supply‑Chain Management – Direct provisioning, storage, and transportation of F‑22 assets across the global supply‑chain network, primarily at U.S. Air Force depots, to enable timely component repairs.

  • Performance‑Metric Development & Maintenance – Define, track, and continuously improve metrics such as Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT), Work‑In‑Progress (WIP), Total Non‑Mission‑Capable Supply (TNMCS), inventory turnover, and on‑time spares delivery.

  • Dashboard & Data Visualization – Manage metric dashboards, ensure data integrity, and provide regular updates (weekly/monthly) to senior leadership, including variance analysis, root‑cause identification, and actionable recommendations.

  • Inventory Planning & Replenishment – Establish initial lay‑in of “bit‑and‑piece” parts, generate replenishment requisitions, and maintain target stock levels using metric‑driven forecasts to optimize inventory and reduce RTAT.

  • Repair‑Process Tracking – Monitor repair actions from receipt through completion, feed status data into performance dashboards, and produce higher‑level reports for senior management.

  • Stakeholder Coordination – Serve as the primary point of contact for repair efforts, manage spares ordering and status tracking, and collaborate on proposal development, project management, and coordination activities for assigned USG depots.

Desired Capabilities

  • Strong leadership and management skills to drive cross‑functional teams.

  • Analytical foresight to translate metrics into actionable insights for inventory redistribution, re‑ordering, and spares coordination.

  • Ability to influence continuous‑improvement initiatives that lower WIP and improve the contractual TNMCS rate.

The role demands a proactive, metric‑focused professional who can balance operational execution with strategic planning to support depot‑level F‑22 repairs and ensure compliance with PBL objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Component Repairs Operations

  • Experience with parts management

  • Experience with Supply Chain Management, performance-based logistics (PBL); third party Logistics providers, weapon system acquisition, operational support, project management or program management

  • US Citizen with the Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance

Desired Skills

  • F-22 Supply Management Experience

  • Experience working with Air Force repair depots

  • Experience with USAF Standard Base Supply System or equivalent.

  • Parts forecasting

  • Familiarity with LM Legacy Systems such as Provisioning Relational, Integrated, and Distributed Electronic System (PRIDE), SAP, and SPM.

  • Working knowledge of the F-22 Wholesale Supply Tool (GOLDesp) and the Material Requirements Planning System is preferred.

  • Familiar with inventory management, financial, and product support activities.

  • Experience with Defense Supply Chain Inventory Management

  • Planning skills with prior experience managing complex tasks and suppliers.

  • Holds experience with data analytics and tracking metrics on program performance
