Job Title: Production Team Member Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Team Member working on the shop floor, where you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained across three distinct departments: Assembly, Paint Line, and Production. This role involves using a variety of hand tools and power tools to assemble and prepare parts for customized computer server racks and related products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble computer rack systems using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, and air guns.

• Load and unload parts on the paint line, ensuring team lift for safety when needed.

• Prepare unfinished parts by grinding and deburring metals, and organize finished parts for assembly.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and perform basic warehouse duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to assemble mechanical components.

• Willingness to learn and sharp attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, particularly regarding absences.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred manufacturing experience.

• Entry-level candidates welcome with a readiness to learn.

Work Environment

Work in a casual dress code environment with jeans and t-shirts permitted. Steel toe shoes are preferred. The facility is part of a company manufacturing customized computer server cabinets and related systems, with locations in Chatsworth, CA, New Bern, NC, and Georgetown, TX. The team consists of 150-200 people over two shifts, contributing to a revenue of approximately $75-100 million annually.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
