Laundry Attendant

Our client, an industry leader in industrial laundry services, is seeking a Vestis Metropolis IL to join their team. As a Vestis Metropolis IL, you will be part of the production team supporting laundry operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vestis Metropolis IL

Location: Metropolis, IL

Pay Range: $15 - $15.50 / hour

Shift: 1st 4a - 1230p

What's the Job?

• Perform work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility.

• Handle merchandise safely, accurately, and efficiently into and out of the laundry environment.

• Prepare daily slings or carts for the wash floor, ensuring proper setup.

• Verify merchandise type and quantity on PUC cards, segregate like items, and record damaged or ruined merchandise.

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow best practices in all production activities.

What's Needed?

• Ability to understand and follow all required training, written, and verbal instructions.

• Basic math skills for accurate counting and recording.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
