Business Analyst - Data Analytics

Job Description

• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business data requirements
• Document current-state data environments and reporting processes
• Identify opportunities to improve enterprise data management
• Recommend how business data should be organized within Snowflake
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and Snowflake implementation resources
• Help create a long-term enterprise data strategy
• Support data quality, governance, and standardization efforts
• Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams

Skills and Requirements

• Experience working with data lakes, ideally Snowflake
• Strong Business Analyst-style communication and discovery skills
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Ability to assess and document enterprise data landscapes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience translating business needs into data strategy recommendations
• Comfortable interacting with executive leadership and business users
• Previous Snowflake implementation experience
• Knowledge of Data Lake or Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum)
• Experience supporting enterprise data modernization initiatives
• Exposure to SAP, Dynamics, Power BI, or enterprise reporting platforms
• AI or analytics transformation experience
• Data governance experience
