Job Summary and Qualifications

The CereCore Service Now Associate Developer for service management software has a working knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow core systems. They have an understanding of CereCore operational processes, business relationships, procedures and workflows. Key responsibilities include: review, analyze, and evaluate user needs in relation to the service management systems. Under the direction of the Senior Developer the role is responsible for developing and maintaining the CereCore Service Now systems, utilizing efficient development methods that meet client needs, assuring operational correct functions and workflows. These methods take advantage of available tools to expedite the development process to configure and develop solutions on ServiceNow platform and to work with a team to implement and deliver applications and integrations in a fast-paced agile project environment.

• Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow team members, end users, clients and administrators to develop solutions and address general updates and configuration changes/requests

• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools

• Participate in ongoing production support, end user support

• Participate in the execution of testing as part of the Quality Assurance process

• Contribute to documenting processes and procedures

• Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations

• Adhere to Agile methodology

• Understand key aspects of the ServiceNow platform: Workflows, Forms, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Core Configuration

• Deliver ServiceNow integration with other third-party systems (AWS, BMC Remedy, Solar Winds, Footprints, Managed Engine, and Jira etc.)

• Have working knowledge of JavaScript, GlideScript, REST, JSON and associated frameworks

• Are familiar with AJAX, HTML, CSS, and SOAP

• Have experience with AngularJS is a plus

• Identifying and solving IT operational opportunities using process improvement tools, policy and procedure

• Auditing

• Participates with the CERECORE organization in organizing, leading, executing and co-leading process improvement through service management processes and application

• Identify inefficient processes, workflows and assist in making them more efficient through utilization of service management applications

• Collect and analyze data in systematic ways for operational KPI analytics.

• Leads cost/benefit analysis for projects

• Develop and maintain training of all CERECORE resources for service management applications.

• Maintain up to date reference materials for service management applications including knowledge base Library

• Maintain adoption analytics

• Contribute to marketing strategies for service management applications utilization and knowledge. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

What qualifications you will need:

• High School graduate or equivelent

• Less than one year's experience

• ServiceNow System Administrator required
