Position: LTS Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) Instructional Specialist (Posting number 2627-3895)

Location: Plank Road South Elementary school

Dates: August 31, 2026 - June 25, 2027

Requirements: Must have NYS Certification as a K-6 or 1-6 Childhood Teacher

Position Summary: The successful candidate will support the work of classroom teachers and the implementation of the elementary instructional curriculum.

We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Strong instructional design skills

  • Clear and concise communicator

  • Strong knowledge of instructional technology

  • Effectively collaborate with staff

  • Exemplify the WCSD vision, Core Beliefs, and Essential Skills

  • Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

Responsibilities:

  • The TOSA Instructional Specialist will work with elementary teachers, supporting the implementation of curriculum and professional learning.

Salary: As per current Webster Teachers Contract as well as education and experience.
