Full job description

Sodexo is seeking a Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager to support our facilities maintanence operations in the Northeast. This position requires overnight travel.

The idea candidate will have prior facilities maintenance management experience ideally in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical is needed. Along with prior experience overseeing housekeeping, grounds and laundry operations.

About the job

In this operational leadership role, you’ll oversee and optimize facilities and engineering services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance across all systems and teams. You’ll manage everything from mechanical systems and maintenance workflows to budgeting, safety programs, and client relationships, all while developing staff and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $94860 per year - $130000 per year

  • Hands-on knowledge of CMMS/work order systems and experience driving operational improvements through data and reporting.

  • A proactive, safety-first mindset with the skillset to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Management Experience: 3 years

  • Related Experience: 3-5 years
