Organization: CPMC-California Pacific Med Center - Mission Bernal Position Overview: Assists licensed laboratory personnel by performing certain limited duties as permitted under CABPC 1269.

A CPT-Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification is required for this position to be considered. Job Description: EDUCATION

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

• At least one (1) year experience and/or training as a laboratory assistant.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of software applications such as MS Word and Excel.

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.

• Requires the ability to apply independent judgment while carrying out written and/or oral instructions, deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations and work with Laboratory Information System. (LIS).

Pay Range is $32.47 to $43.19 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
