Summary You will serve as a NAVY RESERVE PROGRAM COORDINATOR in the DEPARTMENT OF RESERVE AFFAIRS (N00R/N14) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND. Responsibilities You will ensure reserve units and personnel are fully trained and qualified for their mobilization mission. You will monitor unit and individual readiness. You will process personnel evaluations/fitness reports, awards and other administrative correspondence for Reserve unit personnel. You will be responsible for the manning, funding approval, and training readiness of supporting Reserve personnel and Cargo Afloat Rig Team units. You will manage and monitor the Qualification/Certification program for Naval Reservist and Cargo Afloat Rig Team personnel to include development and monitoring of mobilization plans and unique Reserve training plans. You will provide continued management, design, development, maintenance, and refinement of existing informational web pages, databases and develop new databases to meet the existing and emerging information reporting needs of a Reserve program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to resolve problems of effectiveness and efficiency of Reserve Programs affecting readiness to execute wartime missions. Experience analyzing and resolving problems in manpower allocation, training, effectiveness and efficiency of Reserve programs applicable to a command. Experience establishing criteria to measure or predict the attainment of Reserve program goals and objectives. Experience developing local and regional procedures for the employment and support of Reserve personnel in support of mobilization, contingency operations or peacetime exercise as well as promulgating Reserve program guidance to staff and other activities in theater.
