Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional dedicated seamless production flow as a Junior planner. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure materials are available or on order in the quantities and timeframes needed to meet production and customer requirements, while providing material planning, manufacturing, and purchasing support across operations.

By bridging material planning with broader business strategy, this role ensures operational agility and alignment with long-term company objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production workflows, directly enhancing our delivery capabilities and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining consistent product availability, which is fundamental to achieving our overall growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Leadership & Core Responsibilities:

Operational Execution

  • Material Requirement Planning: Review customer demand and inventory levels to ensure materials are available in precise quantities, maintaining seamless production flow and meeting delivery commitments.

  • Production Readiness: Identify shortages and inventory discrepancies early to proactively resolve issues, preventing production delays and protecting the manufacturing schedule.

  • Maintain accurate planning and material data within the ERP system to provide a reliable "single source of truth," supporting better business decisions and operational agility.

Supply Chain Coordination

  • Procurement Support: Assist Purchasing in creating and monitoring purchase orders to secure timely supplier commitments, directly reducing lead-time risks for critical components.

  • Shortage Management: Follow up on past-due materials and escalate risks to management to ensure transparent supply chain visibility and prompt mitigation of potential customer impact.

  • Integrated Problem Solving: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve complex material issues, fostering a culture of excellence and alignment with company objectives.

Position Requirements:

Education & Technical Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though not required; active progress toward APICS certification is also highly valued.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain operations is preferred, though not required; exposure to ERP software or material management systems is an asset.

  • Industry Domain: Strong foundational knowledge of manufacturing operations, including understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM), production scheduling, and inventory control processes; familiarity with build-to-order environments is highly preferred

  • Regulatory Compliance: Citizenship, or other legal/export control requirements apply.

Certifications & Competencies:

  • Systems Proficiency: Infor VISUAL, SmartViews, Google Apps, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets,and Slides

  • Core Competencies: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, problem solving and adaptability, time management and prioritization, and technical proficiency.
