Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Coating Technician for a leading photonics and advanced manufacturing client. This individual will be responsible for operating and maintaining sophisticated thin film coating systems within a clean room manufacturing environment. The technician will monitor multiple coating chambers, verify process parameters, perform equipment setups and changeovers, document production data, and support quality control initiatives. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced production setting. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience or strong math/science backgrounds who are looking to develop highly specialized technical skills through a robust training program and long-term career growth path.

Skills and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing experience or strong mechanical background
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to wear a half-face respirator - must be clean shaven Clean room manufacturing experience
Experience with ISO standards and quality systems
Inventory control experience
Minor maintenance and troubleshooting experience
Strong math and science aptitude
Proven hands-on mechanical skills
