Description

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to support a global plant technology modernization initiative focused on reducing operational risk, standardizing technology environments, and modernizing infrastructure across more than 1,000 manufacturing locations worldwide. This position provides day-to-day project leadership across multiple concurrent workstreams, helping establish structure, governance, reporting, and execution processes within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate approximately five active workstreams supporting a large-scale technology modernization program.

  • Partner with workstream leads to define scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and status reporting processes.

  • Establish consistent project governance, tracking mechanisms, and reporting standards across the program.

  • Build and maintain visibility into milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

  • Coordinate activities across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and deployment partners.

  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making sessions.

  • Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and program updates for leadership audiences.

  • Support Agile ceremonies, sprint planning activities, backlog management, and roadmap development.

  • Assist technical teams in identifying priorities, dependencies, roadmap gaps, and execution risks.

  • Drive project documentation, action item tracking, and organizational alignment across workstreams.

  • Support change management activities associated with technology deployments and modernization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with teams to collect and track financial information, operational costs, subscriptions, and budget-related commitments.

Requirements

Core Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of dedicated IT Project Management experience supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives.

  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholder groups.

  • Strong background establishing project governance, tracking, reporting, and execution frameworks.

  • Demonstrated success developing project plans, managing dependencies, and driving projects to completion.

  • Experience managing project risks, issues, mitigation strategies, and change control activities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations and reporting.

  • Experience working within large corporate environments and navigating complex organizational structures.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate alignment among teams with competing priorities.

  • Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project Management tools.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams that include business, technical, operational, and vendor stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, hardware, or technology deployment programs.

  • Experience managing projects involving deployments across multiple locations or facilities.

  • Hands-on experience using JIRA for backlog management, roadmap creation, sprint planning, and story tracking.

  • Background supporting manufacturing, plant technology, industrial, or operational technology environments.

  • Experience driving global or multinational transformation programs.

  • Familiarity with organizational change management practices related to technology implementations.

  • Previous experience supporting large-scale modernization, standardization, or risk-reduction initiatives.

  • Experience gathering and tracking project financials, operational costs, software subscriptions, or budget commitments.

  • Previous experience within the client organization or supporting similar Fortune 500 enterprise environments.
