Cennox is looking for afull-time Alarm and Camera Inspector. In this position, you will be responsible for performing scheduled inspections, surveys, and related project work. You must be able to prioritize your workload, comply with processes and quality checklists, and accurately report service data. You will act as the primary customer contact and must be able to foster good working relationships. You must also be able to organize and manage paperwork and inventory.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect Fire Alarm Systems

  • Test and inspect Burglar Alarm systems in banking centers and remote ATM’s.

  • Complete project work related to BA and FA alarm systems

  • Verify systems are functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems

  • Complete project work and inspections related to security cameras

  • Schedule your assigned work

  • Complete jobs and paperwork correctly and in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

  • Must be technology savvy

  • Smart-phone familiarity (android platform preferred)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

  • Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps

  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend and stoop while working

  • Must have mechanical / technological / electrical aptitude

  • Electrical experience is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Aptitude to learn from written documents / phone training

  • Extensive travel requirements – must have a good driving record with reliable vehicle

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Capacity to effectively communicate and interact with customers, general public, supervisor and office staff

  • Must be willing to complete all licensing (if required for the position)

  • Must pass a criminal and driving background check, and Drug/Alcohol testing
