This position will be supporting our clinic in Eagle River, AK.
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week.
The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in prior authorizations, prescription renewal coordination as applicable and may administer vaccines when in scope for the practice site.

Required Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED
-
Upon hire: Alaska Pharmacy Technician License.

Within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable.

1 year Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience if without National Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians).

1 year Customer Service experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
