Staff Accountants

Description

Robert Half is seeking experienced Staff Accountants to fill long-term contract positions at growing companies in the Chattanooga area!

As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. You will participate in compliance including quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. Daily transaction processing also needed. Intercompany transactions with multi-ledger entities also helpful. Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting systems needed, including strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

• 1-3 years of Staff Accountant experience

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Proven knowledge of ERP systems, including NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Business Central, etc

• Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Be detailed, flexible, and organized

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

• Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger

• Budget forecasting experience preferred
