Job Description
As a Project Manager (MEP), you will support major aviation capital improvement projects at LAX, including terminal and concourse developments. This role is responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with owner objectives.
You will work closely with airport stakeholders, design teams, contractors, and construction leadership throughout the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong MEP construction experience, understands complex building systems, and has successfully managed large capital projects from planning and design through construction and commissioning.
Skills and Requirements
- 10+ years of MEP project management experience supporting large construction projects.
- Experience managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes from design through construction.
- Experience overseeing budgets, schedules, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Experience supporting projects valued at $50M+.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Aviation or airport construction experience.
- Experience working on terminal, concourse, or other large infrastructure projects.
- Design-Build, CMAR, or alternative delivery experience.
- PE, PMP, LEED, or similar certifications.
- Experience with Bluebeam, CAD, or Revit.
