License and Certification Qualifications:

  • Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission Required

Education Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in related field Required

  • Specialist's Degree in related field Preferred

  • Doctoral Degree in related field Preferred

Experience Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience effectively integrating technology into K-12 schools to support teaching and learning Required

  • 3 years school-based and/or district-based leadership experience Preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide leadership in identifying, evaluating, implementing, and sustaining enterprise software applications, learning management systems, identity/rostering solutions, student digital safety platforms, and digital ecosystem integrations to support organizational productivity and teaching and learning goals.

  • Organizational Solution Finding & Digital Ecosystem Oversight

Identify district productivity and operational needs, research potential technology solutions, and lead the cross-divisional deployment of new software and digital tools.

Support the Executive Director in the cross-divisional development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of a cohesive district digital ecosystem.

Direct change management, communication strategies, and technical readiness protocols for all new enterprise application rollouts.

  • Core Instructional Software & Platform Management

Direct the ongoing technical configuration, management, and continuous optimization of the district Learning Management System (currently Google Classroom).

Oversee the technical integration, administration, and access management of identity and rostering tools, specifically ClassLink Roster Server and ClassLink Launchpad.

Manage student digital safety, web content filtering, and policy enforcement software, specifically Securly.

Collaborate cross-departmentally to evaluate and sustain all approved Instructional Solutions applications.

  • Enterprise Communication & Partnership

Communicate digital platform initiatives, updates, and standards to internal and external stakeholders.

Serve as the liaison between the Instructional Technology Solutions team, external software vendors, and internal divisions to ensure solution alignment.

  • Program Administration

Manage the department budget and prepare annual budgetary recommendations.

Supervise assigned Instructional Solutions staff, encouraging professional growth and applying Continuous Quality Improvement principles.

  • Applies principles of Continuous Quality Improvement across all functional areas of responsibility.

  • Keeps Executive Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation appraised of significant changes, events and actions in the Instructional Technology and Solutions department.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
