Role: Lead Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management Location: The Harley Street Clinic, London and Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC), London, part of The Harley Street Campus Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday-Friday 0900-1730, with contribution to weekend shifts and on-calls on a rota basis Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Medicines Management Technician to join our Pharmacy team across The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC), both part of our renowned Harley Street campus and rated Outstanding by the CQC.
Based in London's renowned medical district, The Harley Street Campus is recognised as a centre of excellence for cancer care and diagnostics, delivering exceptional patient-centred services within a leading private healthcare environment.
As the Lead Medicines Management Technician, you'll provide leadership and day-to-day operational oversight of our Medicines Management Technician service. Working closely with the Pharmacy Leadership Team, you'll help drive service improvements, support the development of the technical team, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused medicines management service.
You'll lead a team of Medicines Management Technicians, ensuring patients receive accurate medicines reconciliation, evidence-based medication counselling and advice and a seamless discharge experience. You'll also play a key role in workforce planning, training and development, service audits, performance reporting and quality improvement initiatives, helping to ensure our pharmacy services continue to meet the highest standards of patient care and safety.

What you'll bring:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) - Essential
- Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) accreditation – Essential
- Medicines Management/Medicines Optimisation qualification – Essential
- Level 4 post-qualification or equivalent (NVQ4) - Desirable
- Significant experience in medicines management/optimisation within a hospital setting - Essential
- Strong dispensary experience and knowledge of pharmacy operational services - Essential
- Proven leadership, people management and service improvement skills - Desirable
