How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Prepare the operating suite by meticulously organizing sterile and non-sterile instruments, ensuring a seamless and efficient start for every surgical procedure.

  • Support surgical precision by anticipating the surgeon’s needs and providing required instrumentation, directly enabling a fluid and successful procedural flow.

  • Ensure patient safety and dignity by skillfully assisting with transport, positioning, and sterile draping to create a secure, comfortable environment.

  • Uphold rigorous safety standards by tracking instrument counts throughout the case, actively preventing complications and maintaining complete surgical integrity.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team during critical procedural phases, such as assisting with hemostasis and wound closure, to contribute to positive patient outcomes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
