Erie Industrial Products is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Supervisor to lead our evening machining operations. This is a hands-on, working supervisor position for an experienced CNC machinist who enjoys leading people while staying involved on the shop floor.

If you're the person others turn to when a setup isn't right, a machine goes down, or a challenging part needs to be run, we'd like to talk with you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and support CNC machinists and operators on second shift

  • Perform complex CNC setups on mills and lathes

  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues

  • Edit CNC programs at the machine as needed

  • Improve cycle times, tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding

  • Coordinate production priorities and workflow

  • Ensure parts meet quality specifications and customer requirements

  • Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

  • Train and develop machinists to strengthen the team

  • Additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • 7 or more years of CNC machining experience

  • Previous experience leading machinists or manufacturing employees

  • Advanced CNC setup and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with both CNC mills and lathes

  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

  • Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine

  • Experience with precision measuring equipment

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus
