Leads the analysis of vendor proposals, formulates the project plan, coordinates vendors, builds and conducts tests, and tracks project progress. Applies expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to manage moderate-sized projects. Works independently within technical areas, applying in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies as appropriate. Understands architectural issues and factors them into decisions and recommendations. Understands customer requirements and their impact on the technical direction of a solution. Maintains knowledge and awareness of the unit's products, services, and basic business processes, determining the role technology can play to support success. Manages project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost effective use of resources. Anticipates how technology enhancements will affect other business areas and assesses tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, and costs. Uses tools to document progress and project plan. Helps customers define requirements, clarify current and future technology needs, and determine how to best meet their needs. Other duties as assigned. Works directly with senior users in defining new application requirements, resolving project issues, and developing business strategies. Analyzes cross-technology and cross-platform issues, evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • • Knowledge in interrelationship of various divisions and administrations, organization’s mission, its relationship to other institutions if any [Required]
  • • Ability to analyze statistical data and present ideas and recommendations both orally and in writing [Required]
  • • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management staff, private organizations and special interest groups [Required]
  • • High degree of judgment and originality to interpret the laws and regulations and to assist in the development of department and office policies, standard concepts, and administrative procedures [Required]
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Word [Required]
  • • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
  • • Knowledge of local and national trends in the industry [Preferred]

Education:

  • • Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:

  • • N/A

Work Experience:

  • • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, project management or related expertise [Required]

Additional Information:

  • • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
    • Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience OR
    • Associates degree and 4+ years of experience

Licenses and Certifications:

  • • Project Management Professional (PMP) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$60,151.66 - $111,886.39 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
