Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implementing and following the person-centered, positive practice behavior support plan / ITP for individuals to maintain or improve areas of independent living such as symptom management, budgeting, maintaining services, meal prep/planning, employment, etc.

General knowledge of social services, record keeping, reporting requirements and confidentiality

Ability to create and follow ITP plans set up for clients and uses creative ways to encourage participation

Provide support and supervision as defined in each ITP plan, using therapeutic interventions, while ensuring consumer safety

Regularly travel in the community, transport clients, and assure safe vehicle operation including all passengers wearing a seatbelt, respecting speed limits, following agency policy, maintaining current car insurance, and possessing a valid driver's license at all times
Hours of Available Position:
Part-Time Role
Must have open availability to work all shifts below:
Day shift (8am-4pm)
Evening shift(4pm-12am)
Awake overnight shift (12am-8am)
Every other weekend availability required
Minimum Education Required
Qualifications for Behavioral Health Practitioners for our IRTS program near UMD include:
o Two year degree
o 30 semester hours AND
o 2000 supervised hours Behavioral Health or related field
OR
o Completed Practicum or Internship in Behavioral Sciences or Related Field
Minimum Experience Required
- Work Experience Qualification Set
o 4000 supervised hours Behavioral Health or related field
OR
o 2000 supervised hours AND
o Receives weekly clinical supervision from MHP
