Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and following the person-centered, positive practice behavior support plan / ITP for individuals to maintain or improve areas of independent living such as symptom management, budgeting, maintaining services, meal prep/planning, employment, etc.

  • General knowledge of social services, record keeping, reporting requirements and confidentiality

  • Ability to create and follow ITP plans set up for clients and uses creative ways to encourage participation

  • Provide support and supervision as defined in each ITP plan, using therapeutic interventions, while ensuring consumer safety

  • Regularly travel in the community, transport clients, and assure safe vehicle operation including all passengers wearing a seatbelt, respecting speed limits, following agency policy, maintaining current car insurance, and possessing a valid driver's license at all times

Hours of Available Position:

Part-Time Role

Must have open availability to work all shifts below:

Day shift (8am-4pm)

Evening shift(4pm-12am)

Awake overnight shift (12am-8am)

Every other weekend availability required

Minimum Education Required

Qualifications for Behavioral Health Practitioners for our IRTS program near UMD include:

o Two year degree

o 30 semester hours AND

o 2000 supervised hours Behavioral Health or related field

OR

o Completed Practicum or Internship in Behavioral Sciences or Related Field

Minimum Experience Required

  • Work Experience Qualification Set

o 4000 supervised hours Behavioral Health or related field

OR

o 2000 supervised hours AND

o Receives weekly clinical supervision from MHP
