Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Material Handler :

• Responsibleforworkingsafelyinallaspectsofthejobanditsfunctions

• PromotesandfosterssafetyandefficiencyamongallHubemployeesandactivities

• TakesdirectionfromtheWarehouseSupervisorand/orDrumSupervisor,asapplicable

• Unloadscontainerizedmaterialsfrominboundtrailersinaccordancewithcompanyrulesandregulations(unloading)

• VerifiesthatinboundcontainersandcontainerlabelsareconsistentwithinboundpaperworkandallapplicableD.O.T.designations(wastechecking)

• Verifiescontainerlabelinganddirectsinboundcontainerstotheappropriatestagingareas(unloading)

• CleansandrefurbishesinboundAFSmachines(AFSrefurbishing)

• Emptiesandcleansinboundreusableproductcontainersandrefillsthemwithcleansolventinpreparationforoutboundshipment,asneeded(drumsucking,drumwashing,anddrumfilling)

• Unloadsinboundsolvents,reusablematerials,usedoil,andwastematerialsfromtankertrucksandrailcars(tankfarmoperations)

• Transfersmaterialsintoandbetweenon-sitestorageandholdingtanks(tankfarmoperations/toweroperations)

• Preparesmaterialsandloadsoutboundtrailersforbranchreplenishment(loading)

• Loadsoutboundwastetrailersforthird-partydisposal(loading/wastechecking)

• Fillsoutboundrailcarsand/ortankerswithsolvents,reusablematerials,usedoil,andwastematerialsfortransporttocustomersorotherHublocations(tankfarmoperations)

• Operatesandmaintainsthedistillationtowertoensureoptimalandsafeperformance(toweroperations)

• Performs other duties as may be assigned

Shift Timings: All Available

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities

• Ability to prioritize workload effectively

• Understanding of RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations

• Forklift operating experience

• Pallet jack experience, including both manual and electric pallet jacks

• Background check and Drug test required
