Security Technician Location: Greater Phoenix Area (Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Glendale, Avondale, AZ) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Flexible Hours Required Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Security Technician to join our growing team supporting customers throughout the Greater Phoenix area. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial security systems, with a primary focus on Honeywell security solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience working in the field, and the flexibility to support customer needs across multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain Honeywell security systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues including alarms, access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance, and integrated security solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
• Program, configure, and test security equipment according to customer specifications.
• Respond to service calls and provide timely resolution of technical issues.
• Complete documentation, service reports, and work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding system functionality, repairs, and recommendations.
• Follow company safety policies and industry best practices while working on job sites.
• Travel throughout the Greater Phoenix area to support customer locations.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience installing and/or servicing commercial security systems.
• Hands-on experience with Honeywell security systems.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
